FIVE FACTS FROM THE SOURCE (Embedded):

The first music video ever played ""Video Killed the Radio Star" by The Buggles served as the perfect song to bring in this new era of music and to begin the MTV legacy"(LT80s).

The original MTV had "tons of music videos, awesome VJs and music news unavailable anywhere else"(LT80s).

Once MTV first came out they had VJs "J.J. Jackson, Mark Goodman, Nina Blackwood, Alan Hunter, and Martha Quinn"(LT80s)

In the year of 1984 "we were presented with the very first MTV Video Music Awards and suddenly the new generation had its very own awards show"(LT80s).

As time went by, during the late 80s "MTV began introducing non-music programming and slowly, over time, the flavor of MTV began to change"(LT80s).

Summary of Source (Three-Four Sentences of the Who, What, Where, Why, and How in your own words. NO OPINION): The site Like Totally 80s, misses the MTV from back in the 80s. The site feels that back then MTV was actually about music and not random reality shows. Also, Like Totally 80s, quotes former VJs from the 80s who also agrees MTV has changed.
Credibility of Source: Author or Site: Who is the author? What training have they had? If there is no author, examine the site. What is the purpose of the site? Who funds the site? The site is just a site to inform people of the world in the 80s and an LLC funds it.
Attachment: Does the author or site have anything to gain from writing this, or is it  simply informative? For example, is it a cigarette business posting an article about the benefit of cigarettes, or is it a scientific community unaffiliated with the cigarette business? the site seems like its just pointing out the change. It is not gaining anything

Bias: Do you detect a bias (a favoring of either side) in the author's writing? Yes the author does choses a side that MTV now is different in a bad way (favors the 80s mtv)
References: Does the author cite references in the writing? If so, do these add or take away from the credibility?
Yes the author does cite Nina Blackwood a former VJ at MTV in the 80s. It adds credibility because it is from someone that used to work at the old MTV.
Use of Source: How will you use this source in your project?

I will use it to compare how MTV was in the 80s to how it is today. Prove that it has changed over time.
